The FSA Retail Distribution Review (RDR) made it clear that by the end of 2012 all retail advisers were required to obtain the minimum standard of an OfQual approved Level 4 Qualification. Tim started his career in the Financial Services Industry over 30 years ago, working for the Prudential as an insurance agent.

During his time with Prudential he progressed to being the top salesman out of 9000 Financial Advisers operating in the UK. He went to 9 ‘star awards’ consecutively & during this time built up a wealth of industry knowledge & many personal & corporate clients.

His desire to offer his clients the best possible advice and products led him & business partner Grant Kingston, to setup Chapel Independent Financial Advisers in October 2000.

Tim has attained the Diploma in Financial Planning and believes that the key to success is putting client’s needs first, backed up by the highest quality face-face advice.

The on-going loyalty & repeat business he gets from his existing clients is reflected by his sheer hard work, enthusiasm and dedication to serving his clients.

Grant started his career in the Financial Services Industry over 25 years ago, working for the Prudential as a Financial Consultant and Sales Manager.

Grant & Tim founded Chapel IFA in October 2000, with the aim of providing the highest quality financial and investment planning advice to people who are committed to making the most of their money and life.

Grant has attained Chartered Status, the profession’s gold standard for financial planners. All Chartered Financial Planners adhere to a respected code of ethics. Every Chartered Financial Planner has completed a suite of qualifications, equivalent to a bachelors’ degree.

Ian has gained over 35 years’ experience in the financial services sector. He started out in retail banking and then moved to the Prudential Assurance Company Ltd where he became a Senior Financial Adviser.

Ian became an Independent Financial Adviser in 2001 and has attained the Diploma in Financial Planning.

The majority of Ians clients require advice in the following areas: Pensions, Investments, Inheritance Tax Planning, Protection and Mortgages.

Ian often works closely with professional connections such as Solicitors and Accountants.
